Class 1: Print workshop

Then, begin work on 5 prints from the Color assignment, due for critique on 11/1.

Homework:

1. Begin shooting for the Typology Assignment, contact sheet of 20 images due 10/25, 5 prints due 11/6
2. Make three prints from your Visual Complexity/Visual Simplicity assignment. Due 10/25 during individual meetings. 

Class 2: Can it work in black and white

In-class demo on creating/adjusting images to print in black and white.

Homework:

1. Continue shooting for the Typology Assignment, contact sheet of 20 images due 10/25, 5 prints due 11/6
2. Continue work on three prints from your Visual Complexity/Visual Simplicity assignmen
3. Begin printing Color assignment. Prepare five prints in color for a critique on 11/1. Choose one print from the five printed in color and try it in black and white. We’ll assess the results in class. You will need six prints total.
